Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in the repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveying systems at a poultry processing plant in Mocksville, NC. Typical shifts include nights with extended hours, and starting pay is $23.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pass NOCTI Mechanical/Electrical test, Level 1.
• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery using blueprints and schematics.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs including welding and basic pipefitting.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report if unable to correct on own.
• Assist with maintaining blueprints and operating manuals as needed.
• Work in compliance with company policies and NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines.
