Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems to keep operations running at peak performance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support continuous improvement, and provide direction to maintenance staff. The role requires hands-on problem solving with hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and welding skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment or equivalent military experience.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging; commitment to continuous learning.
• Must demonstrate maintenance proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical direction and support to maintenance staff when needed.
• Maintain records and prepare clear oral and written reports.
• Comply with safety standards and quality protocols, handle chemicals and hazards safely.
