Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to help keep our production lines running at peak efficiency. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.

This role requires hands-on problem solving, comfort with hydraulics, electrical work, and mechanical systems, and the ability to work an evening shift with potential travel to nearby locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance and repairs.
• Intermediate proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding, and rigging.
• Must demonstrate Maintenance Tech II proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment and provide operator support.
• Assist in changeovers and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain clear work records and reports; comply with safety protocols.
