Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician working Sunday-Thursday, 2pm to 10:30pm. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and repair wiring, electrical components, and machinery to keep our distribution center running safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in general maintenance and electrical duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools, their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with general maintenance/electrical duties preferred.
• Ability to CMMS and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery and building systems.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, pipes, or equipment.
• Record maintenance type and costs; monitor safety.
