Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair production machinery, analyze equipment, and support daily plant operations. The role requires hands-on problem solving, basic machining, and a focus on keeping lines running efficiently.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, setup of new equipment, and documenting work in the EAM system. A strong grasp of welding, fabrication, and blueprints is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years related experience and/or training.
• Forklift and aerial lift platform licenses required.
• Knowledge of EAM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Associate's degree in a related-technical field preferred.

• Document repairs and PM maintenance using the plant's EAM system.
• Set up new equipment and troubleshoot with specialty tools.
• Perform basic machinist tasks with a vertical mill and lathe.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawings for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Overview

The Evening Maintenance Technician will assume advanced tasks relating to the production machines and will troubleshoot when necessary. This position is responsible for analyzing equipment to troubleshoot problems and making any necessary repairs with minimal oversight from maintenance supervision. This individual is encouraged to develop daily goals/strategies and ensure all equipment is running effectively and efficiently.

• 4:00pm - 2:00am

Highlights of your role

• Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs as well as train others in machine repairs.
• Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
• Set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment-using specialty tools-and make decisions on most effective repair of equipment.
• Perform regular inspections and light repairs on production equipment, assist in machine repairs, and perform daily housekeeping in work areas.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status, as well as email end of shift reports daily.
• Perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawing to perform maintenance task.
• Must have basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Compensation

Starting at $27.50/hr, based on experience + $2 shift differential
