Job summary

Mitchell Plastics Huntsville facility seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep equipment safe and productive. Youll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues, and document actions to maintain accurate maintenance history.

The role offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, and opportunities to address safety concerns and support production. Must have 3 years in maintenance and relevant certificates.

Qualifications

Grade 12 education or higher.
A Maintenance, Millwright, or Electrical/Electronic certificate.
3 years of maintenance experience.
The ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

Keep our equipment in top condition by carrying out preventive maintenance according to the PM schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
Diagnose and fix electrical and electronic issues.
Find and repair mechanical problems.
Document the corrective actions you take so the team has a clear record.
Spot safety concerns and fix unsafe conditions, helping keep the workplace safe for everyone.
Record your repairs on PM forms to keep maintenance history accurate.
Make sure work areas have proper lighting.
Take on other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or other Senior Management.
