Maintenance Tech Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hands onMaintenance Technicianto support our operations by maintaining and repairing equipment, facilities, and property. This role works closely with Operations and Engineering to prioritize maintenance needs, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support the manufacturing process. Responsibilities
- Communicate with Operations to establish maintenance priorities based on company needs
- Create, update, and share weekly maintenance priority lists and completed work orders
- Post weekly priority lists in the molding office for production meeting review
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic)
- Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance on major equipment
- Maintain and repair internal and external facility and property issues
- Build, modify, and install accessories to support product manufacturing
- Consult with Engineering on design criteria for accessories and equipment improvements
- Stock, organize, and maintain spare parts inventory
- Participate in on-call rotation for maintenance emergencies (nights and weekends, as required)
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Maintenance Tech Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the hiring manager
Maintenance Tech Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and maintenance documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions
Maintenance Tech Work Environment & Expectations:
- Hands-on, active role in a manufacturing and facility setting
- May require nights and weekend on-call availability
