Job summary
Jobot in Brockton, MA is seeking a maintenance technician for a 2nd shift in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will perform PMs and repairs on processing and packaging equipment and collaborate with maintenance, production, and leadership teams to uphold GMP and safety standards.
The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, familiarity with PLC/VFD/HMI, and experience with CMMS systems. Overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package are available.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- 1–3 years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Basic ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and equipment failures.
- Familiarity with PLC, VFD, and HMI theory and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CMMS and time logging.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Operate PLC, VFD and HMI systems at a basic-to-intermediate level.
- Assist with equipment setup, start-up, operation and disassembly.
- Maintain safe, clean work areas and ensure proper guarding.
