Job summary

Briggs & Stratton is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team across equipment, buildings, and grounds. You will own the preventive maintenance program, schedule repairs, and mentor a diverse crew to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role requires five years in industrial maintenance, an Associate’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, and strong leadership with excellent English communication. Shift: 1:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a Technical Field or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of five years in industrial maintenance in assembly/machining environments.
• Knowledge spanning machinery, carpentry, electrical and related maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills across diverse personnel and technical situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate a diverse workforce.
• Fluent in English; primary language in the area.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work and match technician strengths to tasks across machinery and facilities.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to elevate productivity and morale.
• Own and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program.
• Partner with operations to align maintenance with production and minimize downtime.
• Direct after-hours emergency responses to stabilize equipment and safety.
• Model adherence to plant maintenance policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage core people-leadership duties: recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and budgeting.
