Job summary

Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for the 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM shift to maintain the hotel’s facilities, guest rooms, and public areas to the highest standards. The role requires hands-on expertise in building systems and a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, electrical/plumbing repairs, preventative maintenance, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

Experience in hotel or similar maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented with guest-satisfaction focus.
Ability to work independently and prioritize during afternoon/evening shift.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs of building systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
Perform electrical repairs within training scope.
Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, pipes, and sanitary systems.
Complete repairs to doors, windows, drywall, and interior finishes.
Maintain the hotel’s preventative maintenance program.
Maintain accurate records and logs of work performed.
Communicate updates during shift handoff.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety procedures.
