Job summary

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Machining Supervisor to lead the Shelbyville plant’s machining team. You will direct activities of machining associates, coach staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations to meet customer delivery requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising daily production, coordinating with other departments, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations. Previous supervision and machining experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred).
• Supervision or leadership experience highly preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of machining plant personnel, coaching and supporting staff.
• Execute production plans aligned with customer delivery requirements.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently and is maintained/repaired as needed.
• Provide training to machine plant staff and coordinate with departments to resolve issues.
• Review daily production reports to identify problems and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare and conduct employee performance evaluations and administer discipline when required.
• Participate in dismissals or suspensions as needed.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
