Job summary

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. Plant 6 Machining in Shelbyville, Indiana is seeking an Evening 2nd Shift Machining Supervisor to lead machining associates for high-quality, on-time production.

The role emphasizes safety, coaching, and training, with cross-department coordination to maximize efficiency and reduce waste. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required; prior supervision and machining experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Supervision or leadership experience preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of, coach, and provide support to all personnel assigned to the operations of the machining plant.
• Execute production plans to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently and is repaired when needed.
• Provide training to machine plant department personnel.
• Coordinate with all departments to resolve problems and improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Review daily production reports to identify problems and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare and conduct employee performance evaluations.
• Recognize employees for positive contributions to operations.
• Counsel and take corrective actions as needed.
• Coach employees on performance, behavior, and teamwork.
• Participate in dismissals or suspensions when required.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
