Job summary

The Toro Company’s Ditch Witch division in Perry, OK is hiring for an Machine Operator I on the Evening Shift. You will operate a variety of production machines, set up, adjust, and monitor equipment, and perform basic mechanical assembly as part of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities include setting up fixtures, mounting parts, using hand and air tools, and recording production data. Prior blueprint reading and basic math skills are valued; welding or metalworking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reading blueprints is a plus.
• Basic math, clerical skills and ability to follow written instructions.
• Experience with welding, machining or metalworking tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate production equipment while monitoring performance.
• Set up fixtures and mount parts for assembly using hand or air tools.
• Use a computer to check location, inventory and routing and maintain production records.
• May read information from blueprints.
