Job summary

Wesley Palms Retirement Community is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time PM shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.), every other Saturday and Sunday, in San Diego, CA.

The role includes supervising CNAs/Nurses Aids and ensuring quality patient care with a pay rate of $40.00–$43.00 per hour. Under the Director of Nursing/Health Services, you will coordinate resident assessments, administer medications, and maintain compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Must understand, follow and initiate facility policies.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Must recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs and Nurses Aids to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate and perform resident assessments and care plan evaluations.
• Administer medications and other nursing interventions as ordered by physician or plan of care.
• Ensure all safety measures and emergency protocols are followed.
• Maintain documentation per Federal/State regulations and company policy.
