Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time weekend evening shift (Sat and Sun 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) in our community setting. You will provide nursing services, administer medications, and support residents under physician orders.

Responsibilities include supervising resident assistants, performing assessments, coordinating care with the Director of Assisted Living, and mentoring Med Aides and Caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LVN license.
• Minimum one year of experience in health, human services and/or community services.
• Strong interpersonal, initiative, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct resident assistants.
• Perform resident assessments.
• Order and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Monitor responses to existing treatment plans.
• Provide residents with care as needed.
• Assist the Director of Assisted Living with staffing schedules and daily staffing issues.
• Supervise Med Aides and Caregivers.
