Job summary

Midtown Oaks Post Acute in Sacramento, CA is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our compassionate team. We offer full-time evening (PM) shifts, competitive pay starting at $35.00/hour, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The LVN provides direct nursing care and supervises CNAs, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality resident care. New graduates are welcome; growth opportunities and supportive leadership are highlighted.

Qualifications

Current, active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN nursing program.
Current CPR Certification.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor resident conditions and report changes to nursing leadership and physicians.
Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, suctioning, and other clinical interventions as appropriate.
Take and record vital signs, observations, assessments, and resident responses to treatment.
Participate in resident admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
