Job summary

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities. On site at our closed-door pharmacy in Troy, you will support order entry and patient communications.

You will enter prescriptions into the Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack system under a pharmacist's guidance, and help ensure accurate, timely processing while delivering exceptional service to internal and external

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide over the phone support to doctors and nurses
• Efficient order entry and follow-up
• Troubleshoot prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
• Ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
• Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Must work with urgency and timeliness
