Job summary

A Long-Term Care pharmacy is seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician in Sandy Springs, GA. You will be responsible for entering orders, maintaining customer records, and generating labels. Candidates must be registered with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy and have previous pharmacy experience. This position requires quick typing skills, the ability to work independently, and knowledge of medications. The shift is from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in pharmacy required.
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Generate labels for dispensing.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Triage incoming faxes.
