Qualifications

• Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area.
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
• One year of pharmacy experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis and Omnicell; data entry preferred.
• Able to use various programs and troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willing to drive long distances in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Work independently under supervision.
• Maintain communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain ADS information (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify discrepancies for proper billing.
• Replace expiring inventory and restock.
• Conduct monthly audits (cycle counts).
• Provide facility reports.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking Field Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
• Replace potentially expiring inventory
• Restock depleted inventory
• Monthly audits (cycle count)
• Provide reports for the facility
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Important: Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Ability to physically perform light lifting
• A valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation required
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
