SpecialtyRx is seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician for the Sandy Springs area, GA. The role involves entering new orders for staff pharmacist review and maintaining accurate customer information.

Candidate must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy, have prior pharmacy experience, and be able to work independently and accurately. Onsite position with evening hours 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years in a pharmacy setting preferred; experience in data entry is a plus.
• Familiar with brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently.
• Must be capable of multitasking and reliable under deadlines.
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes is desirable.
• Basic computer literacy; experience with LTC software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Triage incoming faxes.
