Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd MN provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care, under supervision. The role supports the interdisciplinary team and follows care plans to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Evening shifts from 2pm-10:30pm on a part-time schedule, with weekend coverage every other weekend and incentive pay including a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus additional hourly incentives for after-hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have completed required continuing education units (CEUs) and competency training annually.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state board and, if applicable, multi-state licensure privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
