Job summary

Good Samaritan Brainerd in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our long term care team. The LPN provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications, and supports the care plan in a Christian environment.

Work is part-time with evening shifts from 2pm-10:30pm on alternate weekends; additional weekend and overnight shift incentives apply. Salary ranges from $29.00 to $36.00 per hour, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with LPN licensure.
• Current unencumbered LPN license; multi-state licensure as applicable.
• Clinical experience across the life span and ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments and document outcomes.
• Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and health care teams.

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
