Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association.
• Dependent Adult Mandatory reporter training within 30 days upon hire and recertification every 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning of care, implementing interventions, and evaluating status.
• Executes regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines of nursing practice.
• Performs or supervises activities within the scope of a licensed practical nurse and seeks assistance when needed.
• Provides leadership and direction in supervising others in the nursing process.
• Utilizes nursing process including patient assessment, planning of care, and interventions.
• Executes regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines of nursing practice.
• Performs or supervises activities within the scope of a registered nurse and seeks assistance when beyond preparation.
• Provides leadership and direction in supervising others in carrying out the nursing process.
