Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a part-time Wellness Nurse (LPN) for 3pm–11pm shifts. Provide compassionate care, assist with medications, and collaborate with the Wellness Director to monitor residents. Requires an LPN license and state approval; new grads welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing and current LPN license.
• No experience needed; new grads welcome.
• At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and learn regulations and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
• Administer or assist with medication according to the Resident Care Plan.
• Engage residents and communicate changes in condition or care plan.
• Collaborate with Wellness Director on resident assessments and documentation.
