Job summary

Escondido Pa is seeking a Part-Time LPN for night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) at our Centerville, IA facility. The role focuses on direct nursing care, supervision of nursing assistants, and accurate charting of resident care plans.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and experience with long-term care settings. PCC knowledge is preferred; night shift requires strong communication and teamwork to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active LPN/LVN license in the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of PCC preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Supervise nursing staff per facility policies and regulations.
• Complete and maintain required nursing records and charts.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and verify resident identity.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments for resident care.
• Ensure adherence to safety, privacy, and infection control procedures.
