Job summary

Rehabcentre is seeking a PART-TIME LPN to provide direct nursing care for residents from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in Centerville, IA. The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day nursing activities, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to maintain high-quality care.

Responsibilities include direct administration of medications, charting, patient assessments, and participation in care planning and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and coordinate with other staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain nursing service quality and accuracy in charting and documentation.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Assist in planning and implementing resident discharge plans.
• Provide leadership and supervision on each shift.
