Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany is a 79-bed long-term skilled care and transitional care facility located in Brainerd, Minnesota. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, demonstrates nursing principles, and administers medications as ordered within the care plan.

The position is full-time with an evening shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm), every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license and maintain required competencies and CEU requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of a RN, APP, or physician.
• Demonstrate nursing knowledge and use age-appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document interactions.

Education
