Job summary

SGMC Health Langdale Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer nursing care in a personal care home, under the supervision of a registered nurse, at Langdale Place. The role includes supervising attendants when the Nurse Care Manager is off site and ensuring care is delivered in line with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

The ideal candidate holds a GA LPN license, current CPR/First Aid certification, and completes annual in-service training.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the State of Georgia.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification required.
• 16 hours annual In-Service Training required by the Department of Community Health

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care in a personal care home environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Oversees and supervises the job activities of the Personal Care Attendants, Charge Aids, and the Personal Care Coordinator when Nurse Care Manager is not on site.
• Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements are met in addition to facility policies and procedures.
• Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of the residents.
