SGMC Health Langdale Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer nursing care in a personal care home, under the supervision of a registered nurse, at Langdale Place. The role includes supervising attendants when the Nurse Care Manager is off site and ensuring care is delivered in line with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
The ideal candidate holds a GA LPN license, current CPR/First Aid certification, and completes annual in-service training.

Administers nursing care in a personal care home environment under the supervision of a registered nurse. Oversees and supervises the job activities of the Personal Care Attendants, Charge Aids, and the Personal Care Coordinator when Nurse Care Manager is not on site. Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements are met in addition to facility policies and procedures. Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of the residents. Requires a high school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to nurse care manager.
Works primarily in long-term care setting, including office and classroom work areas. Primarily daytime hours with flexibility required to meet educational and resident care needs. Considerable walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (occasionally in excess of fifty (50) pounds). Mental effort required to assess, plan, and make or recommend decisions in complex environment. Likely to be exposed to blood/body fluids, including infectious diseases.
