Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking an LPN for the evening shift to support our residents' well-being with compassionate, skilled care. You will administer medications, document care, and help plan resident care with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state you will be providing care.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Maintains accurate records of medical and nursing care provided.
• Assigns daily care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Transcribes and follows physician orders and assists with visits.
• Participates in resident care planning and evaluation.
• Responds to physical and psychological needs using proper nursing techniques.
• Assists with admissions and discharges of residents.
• Oversees Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides on shift.
• Participates in direct resident care as time allows.
• Carries out physician orders and follows up as needed.
• Keeps information about residents confidential as required.
• Complies with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
