Good Samaritan Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time evening shifts. The role includes providing professional nursing care for residents in long-term care, under supervision, administering meds and treatments, and documenting outcomes per care plans.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, MN LPN licensure, and potential IV therapy responsibilities depending on location; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required; see location-specific requirements.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license and maintains department competencies and CEUs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for residents under supervision of RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, meds, behavior, activity and diet.
• Communicate clearly and maintain resident confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support residents and families.
