Job summary

Homewood Living Frederick is seeking an LPN for the Evening Shift to deliver compassionate care to residents and support their well-being. You will administer medications, document care, and supervise daily tasks performed by Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.

In this role you will participate in care planning, assess residents' needs, and ensure professional standards and confidentiality are maintained at all times. A valid LPN license is required in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state you will be providing care.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, and turn frequently during an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds in assisting co-workers with resident lifts and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Provides accurate and descriptive records of medical and nursing care of the residents.
• Assigns daily resident care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides, monitors and evaluates the delivery of care.
• Participates in resident care planning and evaluates residents' physical and psychological needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of all resident, family, and personnel information.
