Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• 1+ year clinical experience preferred.
• Current CT license to practice as a licensed practical nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents/patients under RN supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Teach patients and families.
• Contribute to and implement the care plan.
• Document data and communicate with the care team.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure plan compliance.
• Participate in inservices and quality improvement programs.
• Adhere to the Diligent Minimal Lift Program.
• Performs other duties as required.
