Job summary

Juniper Communities in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an LPN to join our full-time evening shift team. The role requires being available every other weekend and offers on-demand pay through DailyPay.

You will assist with medication administration, monitor residents' health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safety, wellbeing, and daily living activities in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• LPN required.
• BLS Certification preferred, not required.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the health and wellness component of the community to ensure the maximum levels of resident function ability, safety and wellbeing.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress and side-effects.
• Monitor and record vital signs and provide ADL assistance as necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect lab samples and communicate with team, residents, families and medical professionals.
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
