Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with ADLs, medications, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies per LPN scope and state regulations.
