You will perform assessments, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to emergencies in a controlled correctional setting.

New grads are encouraged to apply and will be trained. Responsibilities include vital signs, wound care, records management, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Active state-licensed LVN/LPN in Florida.
• BLS CPR Certification required (American Heart Association).
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, vital signs, and health problem interviews.
• Provide wound care and administer medications.
• Maintain electronic health records (TechCare) and document care.
• Respond to emergencies and provide patient education and discharge planning.
