The ideal candidate demonstrates superior nursing knowledge, a resilient leadership style, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining high standards of care and documentation.

You will manage the unit, mentor staff, and ensure timely documentation, while partnering with residents, families, and the DON

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN license.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Leadership skills with ability to mentor and train staff.
• Commitment to resident care and upholding unit integrity.
• The Charge Nurse must demonstrate superior nursing knowledge and adapt quickly to high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the unit with professionalism and adaptability.
• Maintain exceptional documentation standards and adhere to required deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Train and guide employees until they are capable and confident in completing all necessary paperwork for the units.
• Assist with orientation sessions for new employees under the direction of the DON.
