Job summary

Northpoint Washington in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time swing shifts to provide and oversee medical services for a patient caseload.

The LPN will coordinate treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team, administer medications, monitor patients, and complete timely documentation. This role requires licensure, compassionate care, and strict adherence to safety and ethical standards in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN license in WA state.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and computer use.
• Maintain applicable state licensure throughout employment.
• Ability to work with diverse populations with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients and communicate observations to the care team.
• Administer medications and provide education to patients.
• Utilize de-escalation skills to ensure safety.
• Provide admission, orientation, education and discharge plans.
• Collaborate in treatment plan development and discharge planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report maintenance needs.
• Document vital signs, symptoms and care notes in the patient record.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and licensure scope.
• Monitor patients and participate in ongoing care interventions.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
