Job summary

Winners Merchants International, L.P. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security/Loss Prevention Associate to protect assets, monitor access and enforce safety procedures across the distribution center and annex locations. The role supports shift operations, responds to emergencies and participates in security audits and investigations.

You will collaborate with management to maintain security standards, ensure policy adherence and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment for all associates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent job experience
• 1-2 years of security and/or Loss Prevention experience
• Background in Criminal Justice preferred
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
• Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
• Computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Protect the Company's assets including Associate, Merchandise and Property
• Monitor ID badges, entry/exit for facility and warehouse associates
• Monitor visitors, vendors and contractors entry/exit
• Control and monitor sample merchandise, RTV damage and charity products per guidelines
• Oversee Fire and Security systems and respond to emergencies as per policy
• Assist in evacuations and ensure 0% physical security breakdowns
• Conduct loss prevention, safety and shrinkage awareness programs
• Document facts from basic investigations and report unsafe conditions
• Perform audits to uncover dishonesty and shrink opportunities and ensure compliance with regulations
• Initiate investigations of dishonest acts, sabotage and accidents
• Conduct safety and security tours of the distribution center
