Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in the Phoenix area to manage exception handling, track routes, and coordinate with branches, gateways, and carriers. The role emphasizes timely communication, data accuracy, and proactive capacity planning.

The position supports a 3PM–2AM or 3PM–Midnight schedule, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities within a Fortune 500 global logistics leader.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or logistics experience.
Ability to work in Phoenix, AZ Metro Area.
Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Proactive notification of delays to branches (Exception Management).
Monitor consolidations to identify mis-routes and data issues.
Proactive tracking of lane costs and gateways.
Track all routes in transit and identify delays.
Coordinate with carriers to assign equipment on planned routes.
Monitor daily lane volumes for capacity needs.
Arrange additional capacity for demand or recovery as needed.
Work with branches, gateways, and carriers to enact contingencies.
