Kansas Health System in Liberty, MO is seeking a Lead Distribution and Logistics Specialist for evenings, full-time. This role leads up to 6 specialists across Store Room, Point of Use, and Logistics, reporting to the Manager, Distribution and Logistics.

You will train staff, ensure safety and quality, coordinate inventory and apply SOPs for requisitions, packing and delivery while maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• 3 or more years of related experience in a fast-paced environment; customer service, and distribution.
• Preferred: some college coursework in a related field; Lean experience and healthcare environment experience considered a plus

Responsabilités

• Train new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate.
• Ensure safety, productivity and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate housekeeping and inventory control activities.
• Lead up to 6 specialists within Distribution & Logistics; work with manager on evaluations.
• Apply SOPs when creating or processing requisitions, picking orders, packing, loading and delivery.
• Cross‑train in multiple areas: Store Room, Point of Use and Logistics.
• Maintain strong interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills.
