Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a Lead Distribution and Logistics Specialist for evenings. The role will oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of products, coordinating a team of specialists and ensuring efficient flow from vendor to customer.

You’ll work to meet safety, productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position requires high school graduation and at least 3 years in distribution or customer service, with Lean and healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of related experience in a fast-paced environment; customer service and distribution.
• Some college courses in related field (preferred).
• Lean experience (preferred).
• Healthcare environment experience (preferred).
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; DOT considerations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees on procedures as appropriate.
• Ensure safety, productivity and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate housekeeping and inventory control activities.
• Lead and coach team members; participate in annual evaluations.
• Follow SOPs for requisitions, picking, packing, and delivery.
• Oversee flow of products from requisition to delivery to internal/external customers.
