onsemi is seeking a Shift Lithography Engineer in Hopewell Junction, NY to support evening manufacturing operations. You will own lithography tools, respond to process excursions, mentor staff, and lead root-cause investigations, driving uptime and yield improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, process stability, and collaboration with Operations, Process/Equipment Engineering, and Quality to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of semiconductor lithography processes, materials, and equipment.
• Understanding of exposure, alignment, overlay, focus, dose control, and CD management.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day engineering support for lithography tools and processes during evening operations.
• Provide rapid technical response to process excursions and equipment alarms.
• Mentor technicians and junior engineers in lithography fundamentals.
• Lead structured root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in tool uptime, throughput, capability, overlay performance, and process stability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors and technicians to maintain stable production operations.
