Job summary

Vestis Corporation operates a large industrial laundry facility where team members handle merchandise safely and efficiently. The role focuses on accurate sorting, folding, and bagging of linen, aprons, towels, and related items while maintaining quality standards and a clean work environment.

Candidates will work as part of a team on a shift schedule with potential weekend work. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and strong attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting specified quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Accurately verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuvers full and empty baskets.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
