Job summary

Vestis is seeking a team member to perform warehouse laundry operations in a fast-paced facility, handling merchandise, folding, and stacking. You will work as part of a team, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to accurate handling and storage of items in a shift-based schedule, with possible weekend work.

High school diploma preferred; reliability and ability to work independently are valued. Vestis provides opportunities to support North American customers across a range of end markets.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting specified quality standards in terms of rips, tears, holes, and stains.
• Accurately verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuvers full and empty baskets.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
