Job summary

Kelly is seeking 2nd shift Linekeepers in Statesville, NC to prepare and maintain automated machines, ensuring quality parts with minimal downtime and waste in line with our Quality Policy. The role runs 3:00pm–11:00pm with overtime; pay is $20.52 per hour plus $1.50 shift premium; this is a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities include following machine instructions, setting up and changing over machines, troubleshooting, performing maintenance, and maintaining 5S and daily charts.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED equivalent (NC State or Federal educational requirements).
• Prefer 2 years or more of solid manufacturing experience.
• Prefer six months or more experience in the respective section of focus area.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow the operator instructions on all machines in the area to be able to train new associates.
• Effectively communicate process/product problems.
• Perform machine and quality checks as outlined in the operator instructions.
• Set up and change over machines.
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on the machines.
• Maintain daily charts & 5’S standards.
• Maintain good communication with team members.
