Job summary

Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Line Cook for the PM Shift to join our culinary team. You will prepare items in line with production standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen environment and ensuring proper temperatures for all perishable items.

We value reliability and teamwork; previous line cook experience is preferred, and evenings are required. The role supports high guest satisfaction at a premier beachfront resort with an emphasis on quality, speed, and waste

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum one-year food service or related work.
• Skills and abilities: Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean the listed kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill).

Responsibilities

• 2. Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare over estimated needs.
• 3. Date all food containers and rotate as per SOP, keeping perishables at proper temperatures.
• 4. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line setup; note shortages and assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• 5. Return all food items not used on next shift to storage areas, cover/date perishables.
• 6. Assist in plans to correct any food cost problems; control waste and usage per SOP.
