Job summary

Trailborn Surf & Sound in Wrightsville Beach, NC, is seeking a Line Cook to join our BOH team. You will prepare dishes to recipes, maintain prep, and help ensure a timely, high-quality dining experience for guests.

This full-time role requires 2 years sauté/grill experience, ability to work evenings/PM shifts, and a passion for culinary excellence. We value teamwork, safety, and a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the culinary field.
• Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Passion for cooking, creativity, and strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality, teamwork, and a positive work ethic.
• 2 years sauté, grill cook experience required.
• Must be ableto work evening/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes according to company recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards at all times.
• Accurately read, measure, and execute recipes.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail in all food prepared.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members to coordinate service.
• Assist other team members with cooking and preparation as needed to meet service demands.
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
