Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring for a full-time production associate on the 2nd shift (4:15 PM – 1:45 AM). Starting pay is $17.25 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential from 6 PM to 6 AM. This is a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement.

You will unpack materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and ensure quality standards from raw materials to finished goods. Compliance with GMP, USDA, OSHA, and safety rules is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing or related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; record waste as directed and notify supervisor of issues.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and equipment breakdowns.
• Follow GMP, USDA, OSHA, state, and federal regulations and safety procedures.
