Southern California Institute of Technology (SCIT) invites applications for part-time faculty to teach bachelor’s level Electrical and Electronic Engineering courses in Anaheim. Instruction blends lectures, labs, and projects, with evening classes 2–3 nights weekly, in-person or online.

Ideal candidates hold a graduate degree with 5+ years of experience, strong communication and teaching ability, and a commitment to student success in laboratory environments and project-based learning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least five years of relevant professional, engineering, teaching, or industry experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to undergraduate students.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate Electrical and Electronic Engineering courses within areas of expertise.
• Provide effective classroom, laboratory, project-based, and online instruction.
• Guide and supervise students during laboratory exercises and engineering projects.
• Develop and utilize lesson plans, assessments, and laboratory activities.
• Employ teaching strategies that promote participation, critical thinking, and application of concepts.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback on assignments and exams.
• Submit grades and attendance records in accordance with deadlines.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum discussions, and course improvement activities.
